Is it possible to Love someone but not be fully happy??

LOVE is dangerous... but sometimes you're blinded into believing its love because thats WAHT YOU WANT IT TO BE... people are LAZY..they dont like starting over, you figure, what the hell I put ___ (insert #) months/years into this relationship, I'm going to stick it out and fix it. You get used to the person and the idea of them.
Please define HAPPY... does that mean the person you love has to love you back is that the only thing that will make you happy...
